Unauthorized Re-Upload of Deleted Content on Gallery

The Sims 4 Gallery has been re-uploading content that I had previously deleted, without my permission.

On August 18, 2025, I removed a Sim that I had shared temporarily on the Gallery after its sharing period ended. However, today, when I searched for my EA ID via a web browser on The Sims 4 Gallery, I found that the Sim I had deleted had been automatically re-uploaded to my Gallery page without my consent.

This is not a case of another player re-uploading my creation. Rather, it appears that The Sims 4 game itself is re-sharing my deleted Sim or builds under my EA ID, against my will.

Currently, I am playing offline to avoid the latest update (1.117.227.1030), so I am unable to access the Gallery to delete the re-uploaded Sim. This is extremely frustrating.

This is not the first time I’ve encountered this issue. It has happened on at least two other occasions in the past, where deleted Sims or builds were re-uploaded to the Gallery without my consent.

While I usually play with MODs, I made sure to remove all MODs from the folder and disable them in the game settings when I uploaded this particular Sim, ensuring a completely MOD-free environment. Additionally, this re-upload occurred while I was playing offline, so I don’t believe that MODs are involved.

I also remember the number of likes (♡) and total downloads that my Sim had at the time I deleted it on August 18. The current re-uploaded version shows slightly fewer downloads, likely reflecting the numbers from a day or two before the deletion—probably from August 16 or 17. I originally intended to remove the Sim on August 16, but due to a Gallery error, I was unable to do so and spent two days struggling with the issue. That’s why I remember the dates and numbers so clearly.

Could this issue be caused by cache data or some kind of residual data still stored on the Gallery server? I’m not very familiar with the technical side, so this might not be the exact cause—but it’s the only explanation I can think of.

In any case, having my Sims or builds re-shared without my consent is extremely upsetting. I respectfully request that you investigate and resolve this issue to prevent it from happening again. Thank you for your attention.

Additional Information:

  • I play The Sims 4 on a PC with the Japanese language setting.
  • I use MODs, but this unauthorized re-upload occurs without any warning, so it’s difficult to test whether it also happens without MODs.
  • My PC meets all the recommended system requirements for The Sims 4.
  • I own many DLCs.
