Sims 4 new careers not working

Have had Sims 4 for years but have recently downloaded Seasons. The new Freelancer and Style Influencer careers have appeared in Careers tab but don’t bring up any information or daily tasks etc.  ...

Been operating on 1440x900 which looks to be the highest available for the game (and the laptop)

It’s an older laptop. Maybe just can’t support higher game res

Try a lower resolution.

    No luck. Tried a couple of different lower res options. Including saving, exiting game and origin and restarting.

    Its weird, there’s a few other little buggy things, like some sims don’t age, but this is the main one.  

    Anyway, Thanks again
