Sims 4 PC: Can I move a "New Game" Sim into a pre-existing Sim world?

Accidentally hit "New game" instead of "Add to World" when making a new Sim, spent ages on him and realised then it wont be in the same neighbourhood as all the others. Is there some way to move him or do I just need to make him all over again?

@zx7llwl0hf86 The sim should be in your in-game library exactly as he was when you left CAS. You can place a copy in any save you want through the Manage Worlds screen.
