Sims 4 specific lot glitch

Hello,

I'm having an issue with my home lot, the time freezes, I can move the camera around the lot, but the sims are not responsive. it takes forever to unfreeze, then I press on sim to do any action and it will normally freeze again right after. When I go to build mode, the sims still move until I save and that's when they stop moving. This started happening to the extreme after I bought werewolf and magic packs. I've repaired the game, multiple times. it helps for the first play a then the next time I load in back to freezing or it helps for a very short time. Any other lot I have no issues at all. I've moved my household to different lots, and I've had no freezes of time or unresponsive sim issues at all. From all that I tested it all points to be specific to my home lot. I found online that my only option is to rebuild my lot or to delete one item at a time till I find the glitching one. Is there anything else I can do to try and fix it without losing my lot and without deleting each item because there are lots.

I've used Charitycode cheat about a year ago found it to be glitchy and then eventually I removed it and haven't had issues since.

I've attached the DxDiag report from my PC and I wanted to attach my save file, but it says my save file is not supported. Any advice that could help me would be appreciated. Thank you

It didn't seem to work; the time still freezes no changes at all. I did try changing graphics setting to medium instead of ultra but that didn't help either.

I've found the solution or more of a work around that seems to work for now and I still use ultra settings with no issues, it has to be done from word edit and not where you click on sim phone to move, basically I saved my lot and placed it in another world, original destination (Ranch expansion world - my lot is 64x64 so not a lot of options) to cottage living world. And then from word edit move my sims to the new lot. If I do the move from the phone the freezing is unchanged when moved.

I'm not sure if it's my PC or the game, but currently I haven't experienced any freezing. I've attached my DxDiag report again. In case it can help someone else if they experience this issue with the ranch world lot.

    Thank you for your help!

  • @KristinaN7  You could delete one room at a time and narrow things down from there.  It's still a pain but somewhat more efficient.

Please also test in DirectX 11 mode rather than DX9 as you're apparently using (from the Sims 4 errors in your dxdiag).  One way to do this is to open the Nvidia Control Panel and specify the high-performance Nvidia processor under Manage 3D Settings > Global settings.  If that works, you can try Program settings instead, for TS4_x64 and TS4_Launcher_x64, but please try global first—I've seen a few users say that program settings doesn't work.
