Sims cannot enter lot
I created a lot with 8 Sims each having their own kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom (a 5 hour build). None can enter the house and I cannot see into the house. I currently play on Xbox One...

Worked for me too. Although some people have reported problems with it.
You can either place a small porch area in front, or lower the foundation to no more than one notch above ground.
Personally, I think the porch with double-stairs and the railing looks nicer.
