Sims can't reach anything

I've been experiencing a bug where my Sims are unable to reach anything inside the house. If I put them to cook, they cancel the action and show that something is blocking their way, even though there's nothing between them. I can't cook, can't shower, sleep or do anything in the house that involves interaction with an object—started after updating my game to the newest version.
