Sims don't age at all.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? During the play with default settings, days till age up don't change despite playing for multiple days.
What happens when the bug occurs? I play with my sim - Baby Ariel. She is a teenager. I played with her at least two weeks of sim time, mut in simology card, days till age up are 13. It didn't change no metter how long I play. I checked my settings and sims should age up normally. I tried the default settings and I have still the same problem. Also, houses are not filling automatically. I have this problem for quite a while with multiple different sims on different save files.
What do you expect to see? I play with my sim. Days till age up change as I play with sim. Eventually, I can age up my sim.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

  • @Baru1998 Baby Ariel has a special trait that keeps her from aging (among other things)

If you want her to age, you'll need to remove the trait:

    traits.remove_trait BabyAriel

If that doesn't work, try the full trait name

    traits.remove_trait trait_specialNPCs_BabyAriel

  • Now, I just hope that the other problems with aging were caused by the wrong settings because that one was created by me. XDDD

  • It's not just Baby Ariel that doesn't age. None of my sims age. Not the one I make, not the pre-made ones. I can force aging with cake, but if I won't force it with it, they wouldn't age at all. The last sim I had this problem with, apart from Baby Ariel, was the Elderberry family, more specifically their teenage son. But like I said, even my own sims don't age. I tested a few more families since the problem with Baby Ariel.
