Sims Family Completely Disappearing?

So everytime i try to go into CAS or split my household they completely disappear. I mean completely disappear, the only place they remain is in my library. They disappear off their world & all the people they have relationships with, they don’t show up. I’ve been able to manage going back to a past save and it’ll load up but the most recent save just won’t load my family. Is this a sim glitch with the update? or could this be a mod? 

 

Edit : i’ve deleted MCC and UI cheats

    Did you recently play with Life & Death and the reaper career? Are those sims who disappeared sims whose souls you reaped? Because it seems like sims whose soul has been reaped disappear from the game (relationship panels, family trees etc.), so this could be that.

      no i haven’t played with any of that. i haven’t gotten that expansion 😕

      Oh, my goodness, thank you for the heads up!  I have the pack, but so far haven't explored it yet Busy working on my current storyline. I doubt I'll ever attempt to play the Reaper Career, since I'm not into the macabre or really even the Occult. I got the pack for the wills and the funerals that can happen. Yay. Don't have to install a mod for that anymore.
