Sims keep showing up to my house

Ever since I got the Sims 4 Lovestruck, I've been having Sims show up at my house repeatedly, like to ask to raid my fridge, play games, hang out, exercise, etc. At first, it was fine because I just spoke to those sims, but now it's becoming repetitive and annoying. I don't know if it's built for that or if it's something that needs tuning, but it's irritating that every 30 in-game minutes, someone's at my front door. I always make the Sim leave with the MC Command Center, but it's annoying.
