Sims Missing Diplomas (DU)

I was playing a household of foxbury students in the campus housing, in total I only had 2/5 get their physical diplomas, 1/5 got their graduation picture (that i’m not upset about bc I did my own photoshoot) and 3/5 got the milestone. I have seen that you can try to repeat the graduation ceremony for the pictures but I don’t know of anything that can create a missing diploma or milestone. Everyone else that’s has this issue has just been freaking out bc it wasn’t 6pm yet but it’s been DAYS in my save file, I got the notifications for all of them and they just.. weren’t in their inventories. I couldn’t check household inventory because apparently student housing doesn’t have one and then they were kicked out of student housing bc they graduated so i’m not sure how to go forward. They have 100% graduated, they have it in the degree section, their profiles, and they got the career boosts, which is great, I just want the physical diploma to put up on the wall :(

    There has been some simmers posting that when they returned to a lot in Britchester, the diploma turned up in their inventory. Try seeing if that make work.

    Any lot in Brichester? I’ve gone to the Foxbury commons, the student housing they lived in, and some other random lots I placed from the gallery. Is that the issue? I deleted the original builds and added gallery ones? I just don’t get why the sims team didn’t implement a feature to request your diploma in the first place, especially when they had the feature in HSY and previous sims games. It’s now been multiple weeks in my save, they’ve moved lots three times, i’ve been playing with them travelling all kinds of places, one of them even has a baby now, she still doesn’t have her diploma!

    spritelst​ You can get the game to generate another university diploma if you don't mind turning on testing cheats.  (for console players, turning on testing cheats will disable achievements).  So, open the command line, type testingcheats on, shift-left click on the sim.  Chose Pack Cheats>Expansion Packs>EP08 - University>University Debug Menu>Create Diploma.  A new diploma will be generated in your sim's inventory. 

    On the graduation photos, there is no way to get them back if they get lost or turn black that I know of.

    I’ve noticed the cheat before, it only gives you a Brichester art history degree, nothing else. My sims graduated from Foxbury and none took art history so unfortunately this cheat isn’t helpful. I’ve noticed i’m not the only one with this issue, if this thread could get boosted EA might include this in a bug fix. Shouldn’t be hard to add a “request diploma” to the university menu and mail it to you 🙄
