Sims think they are underwater in Basements

Hello, I've seem to run into an issue where sims believe they are underwater whenever in basements. I've connected this issue to being caused by platforms being above them. I attached a screenshot of my sim not being able to interact with her baby due to this Thank you so much for the help!
