I've gotten those notices as well. But as far as I can tell, that's the way it is supposed to work. All my notices show up well after I've gotten the couple very satisfied, usually during a date. I haven't tried with couples in the same household thus far though. I've been playing a single sim, and all his dates were either NPCs or sims from other of my households. What I have noticed is that if you don't keep in touch and do romantic socials often enough to keep the romance going, you start to get those notices from sims that are not in the active household that your sim has had romance with. The way I avoid them is to keep the romance going by doing romance socials going on a semi regular basis. The way it looks to me is that system was set up for romance satisfaction to slowly decline over time and you will have to work at it to keep it going. And it seems that that romantic satisfaction is somewhat independent of the romance bar since there is the Beloved trait that will keep both the friendship and romance bars from ever going down. So, what I see, since the sim I have been playing has that trait, is that the romance bar stays maxed but the satisfaction goes down over time. So, I just have another date with the sim that the notice came from and get back to very satisfied.

I only play live-in couples and it hapnnes all the time! It is very frustrating especially when I have the rare occasion that they love each other and are compatible in every single way. A few days just living normal life cause I need to focus on goals and then... dissatisfied - the worst part is even that i can't really work on it cause my sims are too sad from their dissatisfaction to be romantioc or woohoo....
UPDAT somehow this whole dissatisfaction issue took away my good match puzzle sign for the couplm :(((( this is very frustrating to say the least
