sims will not work at all?

I recently updated the game and got the new fairy expansion pack. My sims are literally completely blacked out like pitch black and I have no mods in the game at all. Even without any mods my game is showing my pose pack mods that I used to have in the game but theres literally nothing in the mods folder. I repaired the game and it told me that the fairy expansion pack was not owned or not downloaded but it says everything is downloaded into my game. 

I also cannot complete the nature quest where I need to collect two frogs in any pond, ive tried every world and multiple different sims but it wont count as the task. 

I have uninstalled the sims and re-installed, the game is just completely broken right now??????
