Softlocked out of wedding
So I was playing as a sim (one who wasn't invited to the wedding or even knew any of the sims at the wedding) on the day of another sims wedding, and the wedding started and I got the pop-up for starting the wedding. I selected "let's start" and it took me to the wedding venue and all the guests were there but I was still playing as the previously mentioned sim. I can't cancel the social event, and I can't enter manage worlds, and I can't enter CAS via shiftclick -> Modify in CAS to switch my sims that way.
So I've been essentially softlocked out of a wedding that I can't cancel or participate in due to my sim not even being able to go to the wedding, I'm just stuck watching the wedding in live mode while being able to do nothing. I also forgot to save before this happened so I can't just reload the last save. Has anyone else had this happen or have a solution?
No packs, mods, or CC has been used, just base game, if that matters.
K, got it solved. I had to select "Bring (Sim) here" and then I was able to go Shiftclick-> Modify in CAS with one of the brides and I was able to get it back to normal.
