Stray Dog Lost

Okay, while playing the game I had recently adopted a stray dog that had visited my lot and when done playing the game I forgot to click exit and save and closed the app without saving. I quickly got back on the game since I found the dog about the same time I started playing the file again but the game was not where it started before and the dog was still in my family somehow. I tried calling it over again but nothing happens and when I look through manage worlds it’s no where to be found but still in my household menu. The dog also isn’t in any of their relationship tabs nor is it there when I open CAS. I tried restarting the game several times but the dog won’t leave the menu. Is there any way to find the dog or at least delete them off my bar?
