Suggestions for the sims 4

Hello, This is my first time writing suggestions for this game, So please forgive me if I post this to the wrong area or forum.

The suggestions and ideas at hand are mostly for the sim itself, It would be nice to see more skin conditions represented in the game like Vitiligo and acne, Maybe disabilities and other such things, Even scarring would be a nice idea to add to the game. In my opinion, it would add more diversity to the game.

I do have an idea of how to add for example Vitiligo to your sims via a paintbrush tool like in the pet's pack where you can colour them yourself.

Another suggestion is more androgynous hairstyles, Fluffy hair and shaggy hairstyles with loose or messy bangs because the current range is either way too short for my liking of male hair, or too feminine. And hairstyles that are affected by skin conditions like piebaldism is also another suggestion.

Another thing I would like to suggest is adding a height system, Being able to make shorter sims or taller ones. I have a couple of characters I made into sims that are about 6'6ft and others that are about 5'0-5'8ft in height. Personally, It would have been amazing if a height changer was a thing.

Another suggestion is Piercings, Like septum piercings and other facial ones besides the standard earrings.

Anyways that would be about all I had to suggest and say. I don't know if the creators of the sims 4 would even see this but it was worth a shot at suggesting these 🙂

  • @Harveynest6002    Hello! You have a lot of good suggestions.  There have been a few threads over the years in which folks have asked for disabilities.  Personally, I think it would be great if everyone could create sims that fully represent themselves.  Hopefully the team can find a way to implement this.

I thought I might share that some of the things you mentioned are available in certain packs, though it might be good to see some of them added to the base game.

    - Teen sims have a chance to develop acne from High School Years.  A player can get rid of it by having the sims wash their faces.  I do think it would be nice to have options for this though. Some folks IRL have terrible acne even in adulthood, while others seem to never have acne problems.

    - Nose and eyebrow piercings are available from Eco Lifestyle, Discover University and Fashion Street Kit.

    - There are some body scars available from Werewolves which also adds some face scars. Get Famous adds some face scars as well.  These may not fit what you're looking for but it might be something for you to look into.  It would be rather cool to have a "paint" option for this and other skin conditions as you suggested.

The height adjustment is a great idea.  There are some mods out there that will do this but it would be better if it was integrated into the game.  Thanks for sharing!

    Hello!

First of all, I support your suggestions and I think they are very good. I participated in a discussion like this a while ago in the Project Rene forum, but I'm happy to do it again here, and so I can qualify or expand on some of the things I said there.

As I see that many people are mainly based on physical aspects of the characters, I would like to raise another kind of ideas.

First of all, the remodeling of the jobs. I consider that the best option would be to adopt a hybrid system between The mobile sims, where you accompany your sim to his place of work, and the rest of the games of the saga, where you leave them at work as if they were in a nursery. When I say hybrid, what I mean is that both possibilities should be considered and the player should choose the one he/she prefers. Also in this sense, expand the list of professions, and try to bring some more everyday ones. It's good to have secret agents, astronauts, etc... But it is rare not to have a cab driver or a real estate agent for example.

Also another point that I would like to make in this section is that to reach the final phase of the profession you have a mission or special requirement (for example, for a sim to become leader of the free world, he has to win an election, and then once he achieves it, you really notice that he has power, he can make "executive" decisions and that the other sims react to see it, and so if he becomes president of a company, elite athlete etc.. )

Then, the game should go more in an "open world" direction. The Sims 3 seemed to open that door and then came the fourth installment, which with the loading screens for almost everything closed it again.

Also that there are cars, bikes, motorcycles.... That they have some degree of customization. And if they could be driven, even with very simple commands (arrows on the computer / cross in PS), it would already be incredible.

Also that there was an "investment portfolio", something similar to what there was in The Sims 3 to buy hotels, bars etc. To be able to monetize it and live from it.

And this would be some of my ideas.
    Greetings!!!
