Swimming in the quarry
I'm so bummed that we didn't get swimming in the quarry. Especially since swimming in bodies of water in the world was available in the last 2 worlds.

@hippoo, true, however, swimming is problematic if the quarry becomes contaminated which is a possibility in this world.🤒 And I think it would be very difficult to code for a swimming spot that is only available for swimming when it isn't dirty. 🤔 This is probably why they didn't do it. 🙂
- @PugLove888 You could always have Sims get sick from swimming in it when contaminated as a consequence.
@hippoo, yes, but sickness is only in the Get to Work EP. Having an illness implies you need to take medicine. And adding that to a new EP does a couple of things :
1) adding a sickness and medicine to a pack would undoubtedly take away something else from the pack, which would most likely be something that is more unique to the pack! 😞
2) most people don't like when they reuse ideas that are already in another pack, so those people would feel let down ☹️
3) adding a sickness and medicine to Eco Lifestyle undermines the illness and medicine in Get to Work. This would also upset other people. 😢
The fact is there are a lot of things that they could have added to all the packs, but that would have meant something else being cut. There are other areas that our Sims can swim in just fine, so while swimming in the quarry would be nice 🙂, it isn't really necessary. 😉
