@SianAF148 the team are aware of problems with the Loyal Trait as it appears to have had an impact on mean interactions too, so if your Sims stop flirting and start yelling then I attach a link to the thread for that issue:

So hopefully there will be a patch to address problems with the trait soon.
It's interesting that it's affected romantic interactions in your game as for quite a while players, including myself have been reporting problems with excessive autonomous mean interactions and autonomous flirting and since the Loyal Trait was added it appears they've got even worse.

I've also noticed a rise in mean (and mischievous) interactions. I think for now, the best option is to just not use the trait. It comes with a lot of problems.
- @SianAF148 all my other saves including my legacy one are infected with the mean bug even though ive not haf chance tobafd the loyal trait to anysim in all of the worlds lol im just not playing atm cause it will ruin those saves (some damage already been done by the time I realised)...tried the same thing making a new save with a single sim who was loyal cheerful and outgoing and as soon as he welcomed neighbours in he qued a mean interaction and the NPCs were also insulting each other...i was holding out hope we would get a quick fix like we did for the aging bug but Im not sure that will happen now with the big sims event tomorrow...how will people be drawn into the sims 4 to the point they wanna buy more content if its in this state!! I imagine they are very busy preparing for tomorrow now! Pls 'me too' the bug thread shared aboved, if youve not already...I think there has been mods suggested in that thread too if youre a PC player but doesnt help those of us on console x
