The Problem of The Sims 4 journey to batuu

How to stop my Sims holding guns? I've recruited my own Sims to join the first order, and they started to hold guns, but now, I want to remove their guns, how should I do?

The problem is solved. I just restarted the game and the guns didn't show up anymore.

@eeee77 It should be just like the suit from strangervillie, just click on the gun in inventory and say unequip. I hope I spelled it right.
