Unable to mentor Violin and I’ve tried everything

Sorry to bother; this is my first time asking but I’ve seen nothing that helps for this. My sim is level 10 in Violin. She has the mentor trait from the reward store and I’ve tried doing mentor for another sim with maxed friendship that is currently on the Violin. But the interaction isn’t anywhere on the wheel. It’s not on the first page nor any of the friendly options; and I’ve checked every single one including Affection, Gossip, and Interests.

I’m very confused and don’t want to use cheats on this save. Especially because I’m nearly done with the aspiration.
