With the freezing to death, try installing a thermostat and adjusting the temperature to suit the season.
With the infant issue,try testing to see if this happens with multiple sims.
Yes I have tried other sims in household to put child in high chair and they all dismiss task. For the freezing too death we were at the eternal club and outside in winter clothing and it happened. Thank you for providing the thread on dragging things.
Ooh the freezing thing might be because they were near ghosts and one may have passed from freezing to death.
With the child and the high chair, try moving the high chair to another area with space around it and see if that helps. Also see if having only that interaction queued up helps.
