Vet clinic owner cannot check in pet

I have the same issue but in my game the only other vet clinic is empty and the game won't spawn any vets into it Help please!

@feathc Maybe you can try placing a vet clinic from the gallery, or saving the default vet clinic (the one that came with the pack) from a new save into the library then place it into the save you're currently playing ...right over top of the one the game's not using on it's own to add a vet & the clinic functionality, and see if it starts working right? Maybe also exit the game and run a game repair?
How to run a game repair:
• In Origin (EA App), click ‘Game Library’ (or "My Collection"), then right-click Sims 4 (or look under the three dots), and choose Repair Game (or 'Repair')
• Let it run until it has completed all repairs. It will do the base game first, then run through each of your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and Kits).
