Hey y'all !!! I've been having so many ideas lately about careers that aren't in The Sims 4. I had tweeted one of those ideas recently and someone at EA help reached out and said I should post it here. Like, why didn't I think of that. Anyway, I wanted to create a place where we can all come up with more in-depth ideas in the hope that EA will see and implement them into the game. Start out repairing smaller, less dangerous broken objects like a toilet, sink or shower to repairing a stereo or refrigerator. Maybe your more into reeking havoc and would prefer tampering with objects in their homes instead 👿Maids - Exterminator -Pet Groomer* - Model -Dentist -Pharmacist -Bank Worker - Introducing a new banking system. Sims in the same household will have their own bank accounts. Working similar to the money system for owning a store, vet clinic or restaurant. Sims can own more than one account. You can own your own bank or work as a bank teller.Nanny/Babysitter - List of careers and jobsPizza DeliveryExterminatorClaims AgentWelfare WorkerInterpreterMail ManGarbage CollectorUtility WorkerEvent Planner Video Game Designer And the list goes on... I will be adding on to this list as well as adding more details for the active careers. Fill free to share your ideas and pictures as well

One idea for the animal hangout would be to build a lot looking proper for the idea, give it lot assignment café and the lot traits to draw households with pets; and then look at the mayhem!

@stephfourie , @babuchas01 , @Aquasims1415 , @DonroaAkashu I do wish that we could have hotels, resorts, or Bed & Breakfasts in the game! The little cottages that we will be able to have in the new upcoming Cottage Living Pack would make perfect B&B's!!!! 😃 (The pack does come with an English Pub, but I'm guessing those won't include a career choice for out Sims. ) As for singers, I would love for a Band Pack (either a Game Pack or Stuff Pack most likely) that allows our Sims to preform together with different instruments and a singer but with the addition of drums! 🎼🎵🎸🎻🎹🎤🥁🎶 This is similar to what was in The Sims 2 and the Sims 3. They could either busk for tips together or go on gigs!

@DonroaAkashu Your Maid idea sound great. I totally will have to try that and thank you. I wish we had a better retail system to. Being able to physically go to a retail lot would be awesome. I don't understand why it isn't in the game. That and being able to choose anyone as your employee. It would have been cool if they had this in the game and the sims you choose as an employee actually being able to keep that job outside your household.

@Aquasims1415 , the problem is that adding new animals to the game won't solve the problem of the Pet Groomers.... nobody gets their cow groomed (They might wash and brush a cow for a show, but you can't really style the hair as it is way too short! 😉 ). The only pets that I know that get groomed are really dogs. There might be a few offbeat examples for some other pets that most don't know about , but they aren't going to make a pack about such a small, niche segment of pet owners who own an uncommon pet. Horses sometimes get their manes and tails styled, but that really wouldn't be a pet grooming pack without dog grooming at least! 🐶Theoretically they could add to Cats & Dogs EP but they have never done that before. That would also be a lot of work to make a new career, animations, and potentially hairstyles/accessories, etc. and if something that requires that amount of work it would take a long time to implement it, which since this would be a pack update, that would mean people would have to basically work for free, which for the amount of time it would probably take to do this would not be fair to the developers. 😓The only way to get around this would be to release it as an actual pack, but having a pack require another pack to use all its features didn't go over to well with people with the My First Pet Stuff Pack. I love the idea of a Pet Groomer, but I don't think they will be able to do it without running into a lot of problems. 😔@wittlebamb91 , I would also love a pet bakery! Same problems would exists as the ones above, but I still would love that! 💗

What Careers Would You Like To See in The Sims 4!!!

@Sugarless22 we sort of have that with the Dine Out Game Pack. 😉 In that pack you can own a restaurant, pick the menu, hire employees, and run it. 😃 However, you can not cook the meals yourself ! 😥
But the Dine Out pack has already been out for just over 5 years.

@PugLove888 I have that expansion, but I would like my sims to be the CHEF cooking the orders for the customer in the resturant. Something more like how you can follow your Sims to WORK for Doctors,Scientists and Police.

@Sugarless22 , no I totally understand that you want to be able to cook the meals that your restaurant serves (that is why I mentioned that the Dine Out GP doesn't allow this 😉 ). I only mentioned the Dine Out pack in case you overlooked it, which does happen sometimes with players, especially if they would think a certain pack would be an Expansion Pack and not a Game Pack, or if players are just looking at the more recent packs.

Many people have expressed their disappointment with not being able to have their Sims actually cook in their restaurants that they own! It would be nice if someday they could tweak that pack a bit and add that. 🤞👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

@PugLove888. I agree🌟,tweaking cooking as an added feature would be great as a chef and owner.
