High School Years and the patch they put out right before it's release. My game is so bugridden now...
I don't really regret buying any packs. Even when I don't like the gameplay features I've usually scoped out the rest of the contents and end up using them a lot.
But University is probably my least favourite. It just adds a layer of heavy grind.

I'd have to say laundry day stuff pack. The daily build up of laundry and getting your sims to hang it out and then put it away is just as mundane as doing it in real life. Not to mention the fires that happen with the dryer. I've found that sims get a negative moodlet too often from doing laundry too. Probably doesn't help that I do not enjoy doing laundry in real life anyway, lol!
Absolutely MWS, I use the weddings sometimes but it's not super satisfying gameplay and the interactions keep showing up even when my sims are already married so it clogs up my interactions even when I'm not doing wedding gameplay.
Get Famous, 1000%. Celebrities are so invasive and annoying! They are everywhere, causing all Sims to scream and make a fuss, jumping, trying to get attention.
I wish I would have looked up some reviews and gameplay before purchasing it. Absolutely would not buy it if I hadn't done so before.
University and High School feel limited. Not my favorite to play.
I like all my add-ons. I would not know how to play the game without Realm of Magic, that is one stellar add-on, imo. It's so helpful, and the potions are wonderful. ROM mages literally don't need anything except toilets and a way to get back to the magic realm. I got an elder sim with level 4 rock climbing to the top of Mt K by partnering him with his two level 9 rock climber kids and transportlating him to the next stage signs.
The one I like the least that I've actually played is City Living, and it's mostly because I can't appreciate apartment life, and how it's incompatible with big gardens. Apartments could be great for my antisocial misanthropic introvert shut-in sims, but neighbors and moochers kind of wreck the vibe. I also can't appreciate the singing skill and karaoke bars. My sims somehow always lose their landlord's number. The world is also kind of empty, with not a lot to do most nights besides go to a bar. My sims have never been able to visit a friend sim who lives in an apartment, either, but then again, I've never gone to an apartment with a vamp. I think I just realized that apartments are smorgs for vampires. Maybe I'm not giving the world enough of a chance. I love the festivals and the big wedding park, and the gym, and the food stalls, and the clothing items are some of my favorites.
I must be one of the few people who likes cool kitchen stuff, although it could have been padded out with more stuff. I miss some clutter, like hot sauce, fish sauce, soya sauce, nori, mizo, and a lot of other condiments and ingredients for Snowy Escape. Those empty open snowy escape counter shelves need more pots and pans, a mortar, and maybe a wok. I would have liked a sushi set to go along with the ice cream maker. I do like the ice cream maker for Sulani, though. The beach and ice cream just seem to go together. I have Pa'ka Uha living in a tiny house with a huge garden, a great stereo, and all he does is swim, dance, eat ice cream, and brew tea. He's a very happy guy living his best mer-life.
- gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace@killerkitty145 For me its get famous. Celebetoryies are so annoying especially the level 1s who refuse to speak to my sim like I am your cousin. I wish I could just remove all of the celebetories

@gooochyeee 😂 Exactly! Haha. You can deactivate fame in settings for all sims, but that removes the whole point of get famous right!? and that pack at full price is around 40$ USD so why would anyone not want to include it in their gameplay. I really think in the development for get famous they should have thought about this issue. the main problem I have is the fact that your sims can literally give their family (that they have known their whole life) autographs and blank them if your not considered "friends". another problem I have is the said family and friends of the famous sims faint in excitement. Like seriously! 🤣 Also on another note (not part of get famous) the whole "THIS IS INAPPROPRIATE PLEASE STOP" really annoys me, especially if the sim is your sims best friend! Like the friendship bar is FULL! I understand the easy fix is to just buy the always welcome perk, but what if I don't want to. What if I'm saving happiness points to buy my sim another perk! I cannot understand why making a garden salad at your friends house is such a major problem 😂, especially if it's for all your sims on the lot! Anyway summing up, get famous isn't my least favorite pack but very underwhelming for me personally, and there wasn't many small details (which I love) It felt a little unfinished like there could of been more. But I feel like that about many of the packs, but on the main point there isn't a particular pack that I regret buying the most. Some are as disappointing as each other IMO. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Small rant over. (✿◡‿◡)

University. Played it for almost a full hour and it bored me to death. Could have to do with the fact that I'm an old lady by now, and those days are long behind me. The High School pack isn't far behind, but more endurable.
