I understand that terms are only 5 days, and with the regular 7 day seasons on there is pretty much a holiday every week. But, still. Why not extend the term to 6 days to account for it? Jobs and grade schools get holidays off. Why not university students? It works that way in real life too.
Interesting! Well, yes, we're saying sims are forced to go to class on a 7 day season. From what you're saying it seems like the terms are dictated by the season length because I also play on long life, but my terms are only 5 days.
@Jes2G That may very well be true. But I don't know since I've always used the 28 day seasons. It just feels right to me somehow.
Anyway, holidays in the school year have caused some interesting effects depending on when they occur. I had one group that only had to go to a Tuesday class once and the term ended because the holiday was on Thursday, the last day of class for that term with a bunch of days left in the term since I had enrolled on Sunday. Caught me by surprise and I hadn't gotten all the term papers and presentations done. Really bad grades that term for those classes . A real learning experience on that one (pun intended). A lot depends on timing and when you start the term.
