Just wondering about blenders being in the game some how. It would be so cool to use harvestables in a blender to make smoothies or purées lol. Also I would like more seasonings In the game for more recipes …. Maybe I want another kitchen pack idk. These are just things I wish I could see in the game.
@karitylil while we had juicers in previous versions of the game before, and a food processor in The Sims 1, I guess the developers hadn't felt that there was a need for a blender or similar appliance in TS4 yet.
There was some talk years ago with the survey that led to the Nifty Knitting SP (I think it was that one, but if not, it was the Laundry Day SP -- it was one of the stuff packs that we voted on) were one of the choices early on was to have a health/fitness SP that would have things like diets and smoothies, if I remember correctly. But this wasn't the idea that won the poll, so we didn't end up with that pack. However, that doesn't mean that we will never get a pack or at least some items like that since we ended up also getting the Paranormal SP even though that didn't win the poll either (though that came in second!). I do not work for EA, so I know nothing, but it wouldn't surprise me if at some point we get the ability to make smoothies with some sort of blender or juicer type appliance!
And I love herbs and spices in real life, so I am always up for more seasonings in the game! 🥳
Community Manager@EA_QueenBee , true! The hunger need is the most important one in the Sims because it is the only need whose failure ends up in your Sim's death!😅 Plus, I think it is safe to say most players love food, so the kitchen is always an important part of gameplay! 🍳🥗🍝🎂☕🥂
I think that it would be great to have gameplay with blenders too. It would also be a nice extra to use in the bar or as an extra Mixology skill, may be even as a trait that a Sim could gain.
And for the beginners a few nice mishaps! So that they would need to take a shower to get clean again. It would also be nice when a Sim could make excellent smoothies an smoothies with a kick that could influence moods or needs and wants.
So yeah, blenders please.
@Trismagistos , yes! I wasn't even thinking of the mixology skill, so thanks for mentioning it! They could add a whole slew of new drink recipes with a blender in the game! So many real-life drinks (with or without alcohol) use a blender to make them! Smoothies, cocktails, soups, home-made babyfood, etc.! 🤔 There is a lot we could do with a blender in the game! 😀
I hope food processors will come to The Sims 4 in the near future 🙂
