** HELP WITH STORYLINE **
HELP!!
Let me just start off by saying .... I'm NOT a storyteller, I've always just lived my sims life day to day without really having a story to follow.
For the last few weeks I've been obsessively thinking about some inter-twining story that won't leave my head, like every day I get a new idea to incorporate into the story so it just keeps branching off. So this is all super new to me.
Anyway, I have my characters thought out and jotted down on a word doc with their names, what/who they are and a little synopsis of how their story starts so I won't forget.
I also have my "main character" created because she will play a part in all of these inter-twining stories.
So here's where I need help with ideas.
I'm not an occult player or lover of them (either in RL or pretend) so I literally know almost next to nothing about what is "typically" known behavior for them. But my story will include a little bit of paranormal aspects in them, but that won't be the main focus.
But, I want to have my occult parts somewhat make sense to how they behave so this is what I need help with.
The first part of my story will start out with a vampire sim who has been asleep for a couple hundred years and finally wakes up in present day, the story will revolve around him learning how to deal with "new technology" and discovering scientific break-throughs regarding being a vampire.
So I need ideas on:
Why has the vampire been asleep for so many centuries?
(I sort of have a reason, but I'm not sure if it really makes sense. You can read that here, if you want).
Does my vampire sim need to be super ridiculously pale like Vlad? Or can he be a tad more healthy looking and not so gray?
Can my vampire become human again?
If yes, how would I incorporate that into my story so it makes sense?

In my head, 200 years ago he was in love with a beautiful and deceitful woman who lured him away from his home/castle close to dawn with the intention of keeping him hostage until the sun came up so he'd parish. Because you see, she was secretively in love with another man, who was a vampire hunter and she was helping him and only pretending to be in love with the vampire.
But just in the nick of time, the vampire's staff found him and dragged his limp body home to nurse him back to health but he fell into a super deep comatose state.
