* The All-Stars * Collaboratively built save file
Hi Simmers,
I've been enjoying everyone's creations so much here on the forum so far. I had an idea for something fun we could build together: a save file where each household and each lot is created by a different simmer.
Each contributor will create one household of 1 to 8 Sims and/or one lot and upload them to the gallery. Write a post on this thread to introduce your creation, including the gallery link. I will place everyone and everything in Willow Creek, Oasis Springs or Newcrest.
Two weeks from today, February 28 2021, I will post the save file on simfileshare.net for everyone to download and play.
Once the save file has been posted, everyone will take their own game in their own direction. It would be really fun to share what happened in our various All-Stars games on this thread. Essentially, we're creating our own set of premades, and sharing where each simmer takes them.
Guidelines:
- Everyone is welcome to play the All-Stars save file and to post about their gameplay, regardless of whether they are one of the contributors.
- The All-Stars save should not require any specific packs, mods, or CC in order to be playable. So please bear in mind how your contribution will play out for other simmers who only have basegame or who have different DLC from you. Once you download the save and start playing, you are of course free to use your own DLC to make everyone a mermaid, a gang member, a has-been pop star gone to seed, or a motley army of the undead. (I hope you will post screenshots.) You're also free to make more sims, more lots, delete sims or lots, turn aging on or off, or whatever you would do in your normal gameplay.
- New contributors may make households and lots at any time for players to consider adding into their All-Stars game. They must be introduced by means of a post in this thread featuring gameplay in the save file with your new household and/or lot. Include a gallery link in the post so that simmers may download your creations into their All-Stars games if they want to. If you have already contributed a household and lot to the All-Stars, please don't contribute more.
- Anyone who wants to use the All-Stars save file in other projects may do so, as long as they include a link back to this thread, and post in this thread to let the contributors know what you're doing.
- Groups are welcome to take The All-Stars to the next level and create some sort of system for collaborative gameplay and/or re-uploading the save, but that is beyond mightysprite's organizational skill level so it's up to you. I just ask that any further developments in other places include a link back to this thread, and that you post in this thread to let the contributors know what you're doing.
- The All-Stars save will be released two weeks from today: February 28 2021. If there are fewer than 6 contributors by February 28 2021, the project will be re-evaluated and maybe canceled. If there are a lot of contributors, I might do some curating, but will post any "rejected" entries in this thread with their gallery links so that people can use them in their games if they want to.
- Contributions to the original All-Stars save should be kept T for Teen. Any new participants who want to contribute content later that might not be T for Teen should indicate that in their introductory post.
