Sorry if this has been mentioned earlier, I couldn't find anything by searching. Anyway, I'm trying to be a nice vampire, avoiding drinking from anyone without permission, and otherwise stick to my plasma packs. My sim bought 2000 simoleons' worth of plasma packs to have with him in case he gets thirsty while being on the town (and as we all know, Plasma Jane is pretty useless (restores a fraction of the thirst bar). However, some times, after consuming the necessary 3 packs to fill him up, he some times keeps popping those packs, even when he's full, and unless I have him do something else, he'll keep doing it by default.Have anyone experienced this? It's not a big deal, it's just annoying when they waste expensive plasma for no reason.

I enjoy having my sims fish, and it's a fairly good money maker for vampire sims, or in fact any sim with enough vampire lore (I think it's level 4) to create plasma packs. Since you can make a plasma pack out of any fish and sell it for 50 simoleans, I have them convert any fish that's worth up to 50 and sell any that are worth more than that (thank god the inland streams and ponds of Willow Creek and Oasis Springs were somehow stocked with...tuna). If the vampire has a good stockpile of plasma packs I start selling off the extra. If the fisher sim is not a vampire I just sell them all. :p

Sounds good. Just have to figure out where they are and what bait they want. Have a sim with max fishing skills in another save, and he hasn't got any new kinds of fish in a long time no matter where I fish or what I use for bait. xD

My vampire has Sloppy Drinker and Insatiable Thirst weaknesses, so plasma works only on emergency situations, as he can consume plasma non stop and wouldn't feel full. Plasma Janes and salads leave my sim even more thirsty. I suggest creating plasma packs from frogs, since it's much faster to collect them if fishing skill is low

I always avoid those weaknesses if I can, but thanks, I'll try to catch some frogs so I don't have to waste so much money on that bug.

Yeah, I’ve noticed my vampire sim does this too. I even have a mod that makes plasma stuff more filling, so it’s extra annoying.

I always leave any packs at home whenever I'm at a club gathering which has plasma drinking on the agenda.

True, some things are so obvious that they are easily ignored. xD Glad you brought it up. ^^

Yeah, but with a few caught frogs, some guppies and fishing when my vampire has nothing better to do, it should make a nice collection over time. ;)

I've seen some vampires waste plasma packs in their inventories here and there, sometimes even as they're eating a plasma fruit salad or two on top of that. I think to avoid this little problem, is to not stock up on a lot of packs and only stock up on fish in the aquarium and only take them out if they're thirsty and in need of a quick fix.

That is an idea of course, and I usually try to feed them before going out, but some times I forget, and it would be a shame to abort a social arrangement because of thirst, and spend a fortune on the dozen Plasma Janes it would take to quench their thirst. xD
