Today I learned something about the esteemed Judith Ward. She's an opportunist. She lives just down the hill from my Cantrell Family. Erik is a Global Superstar, Rock Star. He politely introduced himself to her when she came as part of the Welcome Wagon and in fact, invited the neighbors into his parents' home. Today, she called Erik and mentioned there was a Local Talent Show down at the lounge and did he want to come with her so they could totally embarrass themselves? I thought to myself, why not. Erik signed up at the bar and then took a brief swim to cool off. (It is summer in my game.) Next thing I knew he was called to perform. I clicked on the Karaoke machine selected duo and Judith came forward and took a microphone. Erik quickly joined her and together (ah-hem, sort of together that is) they sang the Pop song duet. I decided to video it, just in case we're allowed to share here on the forums.Erik was great, as usual, but even he couldn't carry poor Judith. Now, the question is, was she trying to humiliate the Teen, or was she hoping to further elevate her own skills?Please share your opinion on this, and if you have another revelation about good old' Judith, please share that, too. I just thought this was funnier than all-get-out.

That is very funny, and it's just like Judith to do something like that. I'd imagine Judith was probably trying to embarrass Erik, or maybe for some reason she believed she might be a better singer than him, and wanted to prove it. Then again, maybe she was hoping Erik would give her some advice on improving her own singing? Personally, I think she was probably jealous of Erik because he's so famous at such a young age, and thought she could win the talent show.

My Judith doesn’t need to improve her skills. She’s already a karaoke legend, as far as she’s concerned. Others would beg to differ, but Judith would shout them down , throw a tantrum, or ignore the peasants completely. Dahling, they simply don’t know what greatness is.

She's Judith Ward. She's the 'even if I'm bad, I'm still More Awesome Than You' type of sim, and self-embarassement is kind of part of her brand.I think that was a scheme, to infuriate viewers, so she can troll teh forums on a burner once back home!

In her world, she probably thinks she’s doing Erik a favor. One that she’ll call in when she needs to. Careful there, Erik!

Her being a cougar is actually pretty funny, because in my game Judith, an adult, married another male Sim, who was a young adult. She has a daughter with him, and the daughter's name is Diamond. So, for me, Judith had a midlife crisis, and is now making her daughter follow her in the acting career.

You know, I was always of the opinion that she's much older, however, in looking at her face, she doesn't show age (which isn't saying much. My own mother hardly looked in her eighties, until near the end.) I believe it's Judith's hairstyle that makes her appear older. I'm guessing her to be maybe in her late thirties, which still makes her twice Erik's age. He's only sixteen at the moment. LOL

Funnily enough, after she married the young adult Sim, I changed her hairstyle, and gave her different outfits. After that she didn't look as old.
I put her as being about 30-40 years old, with young adults being about 18-25 or so years old.
That is pretty funny, especially due to their age gap.

I think I need to play her to make sure her skills are legit now. :D

It took a bit to befriend her and then I edited her traits as a reward for taking her down a notch, by actually taking her down a notch with the Hot Headed trait. So now she isn't mean, but she doesn't suffer fools either.

Judith shocked me when she participated in my show "The Bagged Talent". I actually expected her to sing at least good, but she did not impress anyone in that shiw (show 1 of 6, btw).

That said, I never really managed to grab her personality. She id full of herself, okay, but she is not always very conserned about her own style. The ppicture bellow shows Judith Ward walking by my royal palace. She was not played, but suddenly appeared wearing what looks like gym outfit - with high heels? She can't have been jogging in those shoes? I actually thi nk her workout outfit is a red fulll body gym wear.

Without any influence from me as I ignore her completely, she:
takes top honors for the most outrageous situational outfits possible.
in every game save played sooner or later has babies, husband optional.
