My Sims with the creative trait get fun from painting, I don't know about other Sims. - Sara1010pRising Rookie

Is it more fun than sims without the Creative trait? I honestly have never noticed.
I honestly haven't either, I never focus on painting unless the Sim has the creative trait. "bixters;c-17842188" wrote:

There's other things in game that I feel some sims should get fun from but they don't. I still can't get over how sims don't find magic fun.

I think it is but it’s limited to creative sims.- AquaGamer1212New SpectatorI think they’re finally making these little changes because EA is finally letting Maxis do what they want to an extent. We have no idea of the gurus have wanted to fix it but weren’t allowed to.

I'd have to wonder though, why would EA not let them fix traits?
Tight purse strings would be my guess. ;)- AquaGamer1212New Spectator

Why wouldn’t EA let them fix a lot of the problems with the game? My guess is that to them it’s not a priority since enough people are still playing regardless. - amapola76Seasoned Vanguard

Ah ok, that's fair.
I wonder if there are any other traits where the sims doesn't receive extra enjoyment when they should.
I've never understood why gardening doesn't provide entertainment in TS4. It always did in previous iterations of the game, aside from the fact that it's, you know, fun (at least for those of us who willingly choose to do it) in real life. - marea_a_moonNew Spectator

this is the kind of expectations ea has accomodated their players to.
next time they'll tell us evil sims are meant to be evil and everyone will clap in amazement
I have an evil club with "be mean" as an activity and I can set off a gathering and witness no mean interactions.
I think it might be because the clubs are bugged in this senario. I had a kintting club but my sim is the only one who does the assigned activity during club gatherings, same with my spellcasters club. I hope they tackle this bug next because it makes clubs kinda useless. It was reported by a few other simmers as well. "bixters;c-17842416" wrote:

It seems like "Loves the Outdoors" trait should make Gardening fun?
I love the outdoors but hate gardening. ?"simgirl1010;c-17842417" wrote:

Lol well maybe a Green Thumb type trait should make Gardening more fun?
