- atreya33Seasoned AceI just hope other non-student sims are able to visit this new world. I hope the universities will be special lots, with a locked lot type if necessary, like the strangerville secret lab or the haunted house in windenburg. And the rest will be a regular neighbourhood. Sims 4 has the annoying habit of
limitingdirecting our gameplay so I know chances are it will be students only. But at this point I can still hope. - elizabethjane818New NoviceI loved that sims 2 was a closed university world. Kind of breaks immersion when an elder townie in ugly clothes starts doing spells.

Britechester looks like it would be located near Willow Creek.
Foxbury near either Brindleton Bay or Newcrest
I think it's Foxbury that's supposed to be around Willow Creek - hence the lobster mascot. :)
Uh, Im not seeing the connection between Willow Creek and lobsters....?
I'm surprised the mascot for Britechester wasn't a llama and Foxbury a Fox
Too on the nose, maybe? And llamas have been done to death (not literally; no llamas were harmed in the making of this post). Time for a change!
And that it is already the mascot for the professional sports team.- GrumpyGlowfishSeasoned NewcomerI remember my first time in London, asking people something about Leicester Square and them looking at me funny because I didn't pronounce it "Lester Square"... Ah, the memories! Britechester still has that additional h, though, so I agree that it's probably pronounced "Bright-Chester".
As to where it is, we're never going to get a precise answer, but..."AquaGamer1212;c-17286065" wrote:

There's a standard hilly-foresty backdrop with big buildings randomly sticking out in one place. I often use little "hints" like this to make up a world map in my mind, and I've decided that Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade are close to San Myshuno because of the skyscrapers in their backdrops. Now these tall buildings here could belong to San Myshuno as well, but the architecture and the name of Britechester itself remind me more of Brindleton Bay, which is close to Windenburg in my headcanon. So for me, what we see in the background is the modern district of Windenburg, putting Britechester close to that and Brindleton Bay, Forgotten Hollow, Glimmerbrook, and Granite Falls. Right I'm When ever I'm posting it, I'm keep having to correct the spelling I keep wanting to type "Brightchester" instead of "Britechester"
I admit it's cleaver, they might have used the Urban Dictionary definition that they named the school "Brite" which is sarcastically implying, the students at this school are, hahaha, a few lightbulbs short! And if that's true, the Students at Foxbury are Plagiarists and Liars.
??
It's comical really.
Oh, I hope we can change the mascots.
I think the Brightchester Knights would be a better choice.- bizuktagRising Traveler

We have only seen the campus in the trailer and nothing of Britechester
We've seen a third neighborhood, with a lot of buildings and a canal, in the trailer. - > @elelunicy said:

Actually, if you wanted to make it really English, you would leave out the "h" and make it Britecester, pronounced "Brightsesterr". It would be a leftover Latin/Roman market town. The stone buildings would have likely been a monastery and then a university. All very believable. That would make it like Gloucester, Cirencester, etc. Chester is just one of those towns.
Roxbury could also be in England, Massachusetts ... or Saturday Night Live.
Wow, was I ever wrong. I thought it was like Goucester, which I have been mispronouncing, it seems. It's Glaw (rhymes with claw)-ster . For the record Worcestershire is pronounced Wust-er-sure. Not Shy-er. But rather like New Hamshire. Which is why I hoped to learn the correct pronunciation. I guess we'll all call it our own way. I say live (as in Saturday Night Live) mode and not live rhymes with give. - loubyloulouSeasoned Novice

Sorry, as a Brit I have to correct this! It's Glos-ter, not Glaw-ster :D - The world is probably like Boston where they have Harvard and MIT
