You are 100% right, cars its something that was (in my opinion) the first thing you had to save money and buy in TS3, it was big status symbol for your sims wealth! and it was fun to see (and more realistic) how you move around in it,
And i will tell you even more! in the new map "GLIMMERBROOK" its actually small "Open world map" you can walk/teleport from 1 part to the other and even go 1 inch near a house before you press to "travel to this lot"..basically an open world (small one) but still if you ask me ...we need cars like ASAP! and for the future..sims 5 need to be FULLY open-world WITH CARS!
