Can I make my Sim a descendant of Guidry?

I've decided to make some family for my Sims upcoming wedding and to flesh things out in general (unintended pun somewhere there, considering... ?)

Anyway, the story I have in my head is that my Sim/s inherited their haunted house in Forgotten Hollow. I put pictures up on the wall, including one of Guidry as if he once lived in said house. So basically, I want to make a Sim as mother to my existing Sim and I want that new mother Sim to be the daughter of Guidry. I figure daughter is heaps easier than granddaughter and grandpa Guidry will do nicely...

Problem is Guidry isn't in Manage Households in order to take him to CAS and play with genetics.
I DO have MCCC to help... Can it be done??
  • This article might help.

How can I resurrect Guidry in Sims 4 Paranormal?

  • Can you make your sim pregnant with him via MCCC?

If you can, then just age the baby up after born, and make as the mom of your own sim, as you said above.

Maybe you can... Im not sure was he already part of the household, now when I think of it, as I added him earlier to some. And my machine is closed now.
    Spoiler

okay, tested, you can? NOTE: maybe! I'm tired and am not sure did I tested in wrong household!

ETA: click sim-> mc command center->mc pregnancy->pregnancy start
  • I think you can fix a setting MCCC to unhide hidden households. I'm not sure if Guidry is in there though. I don't remember seeing him in my game and I have that setting to show hidden households.

As for making him the grandfather, you could try clicking on him or the sims you want to be a descendant of him, going to MCCC>Relationships. There should be something like "add relationship with sim on lot." It may be another option. Another window will pop up, find the sim you want related to Guidry (or Guidry if you went the other way). When you click the sim, it should have a relationship status option, choose what relationship you want. It should then be in the family tree.
  • What about starting a new save and grab Guidry from there? Add him to your My Library and take it from there. Then you can simply delete that new save you won't be needing. Just a thought. And when you've got him in CAS you can remove him from the new household you just created via his DNA.

Am I making any sense at all? I'd try it myself, but I don't have RoM.
  • I did this on Xbox. Got a wizard and revived him, I think. Might be mixing myself up with Felix Psyded.

Just my guess; I haven't tested this:

Add him to your household, modify the household with CAS.fulleditmode enabled, add a daughter for Guidry, make her a young adult or older, then set her as your main Sim's mother in the household relationships menu.

I don't know whether you can skip creating the middle generation and just set two Sims as grandparent/grandchild in the household relationships menu, but if you're not concerned about detailed genealogy records, that MIGHT be an option?

Then remove Guidry from your household. I'm guessing you'll need cheats or MCCC operations to reinstate him in his role.

The problem isn’t where to meet him. Guidry is happily haunting the active families home. I also want him to stay a ghost and haunting the house (though if resurrecting him is an essential part and I can get him back in his proper ghostly place afterwards…)

I had planned to go into Manage Household, take Guidry to CAS and create his daughter there. Then I would use MCCC to make his daughter my Sims mother. That would in theory make Guidry the grandfather of my current, active Sim. (Plus give me the Mum to move out and invite to the upcoming wedding to my other Sim..). Problem is I can’t get Guidry to CAS from manage households; he’s not there..
  • I suspect that he and Temperance (his angry ex-)  aren't regular sims because when my magic user sim learned the "dedeathify" spell that allows ghosts to be magically resurrected as human living sims I tried the spell on both of them and ... well, the spell didn't even appear in my pie chart of spells available.   So they apparently are hard-wired to be ghosts and nothing else?  I love being able to to turn ghosts back into playable sims though.  I thought about making that sim into a reaper but I don't like taking sims away.  I am afraid nobody would die in my neighborhood if I was playing as the Reaper.
