Cats won't pee outside
I've tried this in different households and in different saves, but everytime I got the same result. After having done the "scold for peeing inside" interaction a couple of times, I got a notification according to which the cat had learnt to go pee outside. However, even after they supposedly "learnt", they never do ; they just ask for a litter box and if they are not given one, they will pee inside. Adding to the irony, the interaction "scold for peeing inside" is then available again. What even is the point of scolding the cats for having peed inside, if they CAN'T go outside ? Also, what is the point of having little doors for pets to go outside on their own then ?
Am I missing something or is EA logic just different from any other logical thinking on earth ever ?
(Teaching to dogs works just fine though.)
I can't believe there are so many problems and restrictions even though cats and dogs are literally the only big feature of this 40 euros pack (I'm French). If the addition of TWO ANIMALS in any other game was at this price, I would expect it to be the most mind-blowing, true-to-life detailed magical animals we have ever seen in any virtual reality ever. Instead of that... Well, I like the pack! I'm actually having a lot of fun with it, but still, it is not worth the price ! Has anyone seen the animation when a dog takes a pet dish in his mouth to bring it to a sim ? It becomes gigantic in his mouth, and shrinks back to its original size once it reaches the floor. For some reason they couldn't use the same objects with the same dimensions for build/buy and for the animations. I get that the team in charge of the animations is somewhat separate from the one modelling the objects, but still, it seems like common sense that the models used in the animations should be the same ones as the ones in game! Why is everything so rushed and still so expansive with this game?
Rant over.
I still love you, The Sims.
I do.
