So I'm just getting around to the Food Critic career and most days I have my sim work from home. Her assignment today was to eat 4 dishes in the spice market. I'd gotten this assignment before and didn't complete it because I thought it had to happen at the Spice Festival. Today though I sat up two food stalls at the karaoke bar, had my sim hire vendors and then order food. It worked. @paradiseplanet, I have the UI cheat installed which allows me to drag the hunger need all the way down.

They're in the open central area where the basketball court is. There's usually two food stalls there they rotate their exact location on the lot but they're somewhere in that area. One of the food stalls might be the produce stall (I think it always is except during the festival) the but the second one is a food cart (it varies of what variety the food is) and eating multiple meals from it does count for the work-at-home requirements.

There's food at the spice market even when there is no festival. So it should work anyway without having to add anything.

Yep. But I think a lot of people don't realize that they can just exit the lot and walk into the central area.

I remember that some simmers thought they could only visit the area when there was a festival. Some even thought the festivals were broken because they kept trying to get there by clicking the large district icon. The icons are quite confusing and I wish we could jump straight there by clicking them instead of traveling to the adjoining lot.

Yeah, my sim lives in Brindleton Bay and I kept trying to click on the spice district icon to travel there. Finally I visited a family in the closest apt and then walked over.
