DHD--is the $14000 payout a glitch?

I think it's a glitch since it's the only gig where you get paid so much money.

However I noticed that it also doesn't look like you are getting paid much more for more harder gigs either? It's only one gig that is $14000, for the rest of the gigs you are kinda getting paid the same amount, some are not much more than when you were level 1 in the career.

So I'm not sure if it's working as intended or not.

I haven't seen that! Dang, my newest sim was practically starving in San Mushino because I was concentrating more on her charisma and social needs than on her career. I just moved her into a larger apartment with two room mates so I didn't have to worry about her money problems.

It definitely seems like a glitch based on the client's budget. Who is going to only have a $3000 budget and then turn around and pay their designer $14,000? That payout only makes sense if you had a ridiculous budget.

My sim always comes in under budget. I believe that the budget money goes to her account when she gets paid. At least, that is the only way I can explain why she's getting much bigger paychecks than the gig is offering. It's something to try, if you haven't already. Who knows? Could just be a glitch in my game. But she's never gone over budget and always makes more than quoted.

Edited to stay on topic: I have never seen a 14,000 gig. Is this a commercial gig? Or is it showing up randomly?

Once in a blue moon, I also get a 25k gig. That seems absurd for a single day of work!

It's for a level renovation. I've had several $14,000 payouts. Some don't work (since the sims don't like it). Since it's a whole level, it's a harder challenge and takes a long time to do, but still...it's kind of a crazy payout since the additions are only at $1900 payout.

The DHD pack is so glitchy so it honestly wouldn't surprise me. I guess the gurus aren't saying anything about it.

The 14k gig is among the easiest one (at least for me). :D

They have perhaps among the least budget, but as long as you meet all the criteria, then kaching! TBH, what I can see from this career is, to learn to let go. Build whatever the clients want, then you'll eventually get paid.

The level addition gigs are almost always broken, they don't allow you to add another floor. I have unlocked one level addition gig where they want to pay me $28,000 and it's impossible to complete.

Ohhh...i haven’t seen that one yet. Hmmm...so maybe it’s real and not a glitch. Honestly, this is one of the buggiest packs ever. But I still like playing it. ?
