Do Vampires Visit Other Neighborhoods Autonomously?

I'm not keen on Supernaturals. I prefer to play family/realistic styles. That said, there seems to be quite a few cool new items in this pack (which is mainly why I would get it). Could you tell me if the vampires visit other neighborhoods autonomously? Since there's no way to turn them on/off (which I really wish there was -- for aliens, as well *hint, hint EA*), I'd prefer not to see them roaming my 'hoods. If that's the case, then I'll be sad for missing the new items, but I won't get it. I didn't hear any of the Guru's mention this in articles or the video. Thanks for letting me know.     Yeah, they do. Vlad came knocking one night while I was playing my family universe. No children for you Vlad, sorry!

    People have been saying that their sims are being changed into vampires without their consent and also if there were burglars I could easily buy an alarm. If I want to defend against vampires I have to research them which I don't want to do.


    I doubt sims are being changed in to vampires without player influence. I really doubt it.

    Alarms didn't stop the burglar.....

    If you want to defend against vamps in 4, just have absolutely nothing to do with them. It's really that simple.




    I'm trying, I have garlic on the doors & took their computers away.. I don't let them talk about them either..

    I think it's not really as 'black & white' as you are stating it here. There are plenty of people who don't mind playing around with the vampires, but not in every save / challenge. A switch would be very usefull for that! Then you can controll in which savegame they spawn and where they don't.

    I would also like to know more about MC Command Center spawning vamps, because I am a huge fan of MC Command Center, and I am still holding off buying this pack for now. Can anyone confirm what it does exactly? I don't want to remove MCCC as I'm using it a lot!

    Thank you BabySquare. I was going to get my daughter to uninstall the vampire pack, but she said we cant without uninstalling all the Sim's 4 packs/game. :/

    I'm afraid of installing any mods.. so I will just have to have the vampires... *sigh*

    So after alll this time I am figuring out if I'll buy the vampires pack. Since I want the built items just like the starter of this topic. I don't mind playing with vampires but I don't want them to show up everywhere. I've saw a lot of you mention to delete the vampires and especially 'Vlad'. Does that work? And has anyone tried the mod that was mentioned somewhere above 'Neighborhood Protection - No Vampires!'?
