- I made my sim self, it's my avatar. I also made my cats. I don't know why I made her, because I never play her. I guess for my boyfriend. He only plays his sim self in my/ our save...but for me it's more interesting to have a lot if different families.
- Yup my picture is profile pic.
- I do all the time. I create myself as a YA with braided hair in Sims 2. But I will really be able to make my Sim Self if they add physical disabilities to Sims 4.
- Hermitgirl7 years agoNew SpectatorNo it's uncomfortable for me to make and play my simself or other real people in my game. I have put a few in some slapstick situations but they aren't lasting saves it's purely for giggles. I'll use actors but I don't think of them as the same mostly because in my mind they are more like the characters they have played or some composite that makes them not as real since I don't really know them.
I think I tie using real people - me or others too much into my actual feelings and I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them in the game. I also feel this way about people I dislike but know in real life. Also I'm a deviant player/storyteller so bad things are bound to happen. It would feel like poking a voodoo doll I think.. just bad juju for me. Nope. - Nope.
- pinneduphair7 years agoNew SpectatorI made a simself (in my case, not my profile pic), but I have yet to use her in game. I think I would find it more fun to put my simself in a save and not play with it, just see her around and let MCCC take care of her life.

I explained in another discussion that I’m constantly making my sim self and not getting past the one generation, so I’m going to break the habit today! :)
So I’m interested do you make your sim self or not?
And why?
Yes. I have a Simself on both the Pc and Console Version. - simsimsere7 years agoRising AdventurerPlaying a simself doesn't really suit my playstyle because I play rotationally with aging on, but I have made some. In TS1 I made our whole family and played them a little bit. In TS2 I don't think I made a simself for a long time, but then eventually I used one and some of my friends in an asylum challange. It was fun, but somehow I lost the save when I got a new computer. Dind't play TS3. In TS4 I decided to give simself a proper go. I created my teenage self in a fantasy world save and played it for a while. Then I did some changes in the save and aged myself to YA... and stopped playing. I have made my family in TS4 too and I tried to make my boyfriend, but can't get him right.
- No way. You never know what people will do if you post screenshots of your Sims self online. On the other hand, I've made Sims versions of Dex-Starr, Power Girl, Poison Ivy and Zatanna.
- Yes, I created my simself (my avatar) and updated her a couple of times but I only played with her once.
I don't like to play with real life people and that includes myself. It just feels weird.
