- When I had TS3 I had every expansion and stuff pack on a normal laptop. It was extremely laggy for me and eventually unplayable. I have a gaming PC now and TS4 runs sooooo smoothly and barely any time in loading screens. Before I got my PC though the games were starting to run slowly on my laptop. But it was very ancient and not a gaming laptop.
- Think I’m going to look into getting one! I play on console now but like I’ve been a sims fan for a looong time so the change is a lot to adapt to and though I’ve spend a lot of money on console packs, I would happily rebuy my packs gradually
- TS4 is beautiful on a PC and the graphics in some places are breathtaking. Now I have a proper gaming PC I do not feel at all restricted in what I can do with my game play.
- there’s just such a difference in Console sims in comparison it’s just not the same at all..
- LaBlue03147 years agoSeasoned AceI can only tell you of my issues with my desktop. I have a window 8.1, and it is about 8 years old. There is not a whole lot of games I can play on it either. I had to stop playing Sims 3 because of the lag, and some other issues, but it plays both Sims 2 and Sims 4 wonderfully. I have all the different packs, except for Get Famous. I have mods and CC as well, well not at the moment, because everyone is updating all their stuff, and I don't suffer any lags.
- SheriSim7 years agoSeasoned AceI just bought a good gaming laptop with a 1070 graphics card a couple months ago. I have all the packs and it runs great, and the graphics are really something else!
- would you happen to know about these specs anyone

- EricasMyTouchQ7 years agoSeasoned AceI have played both on several laptops (nowhere near gaming laptop specs) and both games have run very well with no lag or problems. I had the entire Sims 3 collection on one (when I had a laptop with a disk drive). I am going to eventually re-purchase my missing Sims 3 packs via Origin (except Katy Perry's Sweet Treat pack which is no longer available) and see how well they run on this laptop which was a last minute purchase back in September after my Dell laptop's battery died.
