Home world for Batuu save

My decision paralysis strikes again...

If you wanted your sims to live in the countryside of Batuu, like one of the three settlements mentioned in the quests, which world would you choose? I know both Galaxy's Edge parks are in warmer zones irl, but the wiki gives "temperate" as climate for Batuu, so almost every world would be an option. There could even be iced over poles. (I don't own Tomarang, Copperdale and San Sequoia.)

I have four households to place:

A - The First Order Governor with his family (30x40, maybe bigger)
B - Regular stormtrooper barracks for the Governor's guard of honor (Also 30x40?)
C - A modest (20x30 at max) home for the honor guard's sergeant, his wife and child
D - A local merchant family, they don't neccesarily need to live in the same neighborhood or even world as the other three, just within commuting distance. Their servant is friends with the governor's servant and these two may form a fifths household.
  • Personally I have a batuu neighbourhood in oasis springs. Perhaps my choice of this world is more inspired by tatooine than batuu. I generally I would go for a neighbourhood with little to no shell buildings, definitely no premade houses in between the batuu inspired buildings.

If you want all of them together, how about the upper neighbourhood in strangerville? It's big enough with 5 lots. You could even add a community lot for your batuu residents. There are no fake houses between the lots. The landscape is grass around the lots and rock formations in the distance. I think it visually matches the resistance camp.

If you want to go for a more lush and green environment because you mention a temperate climate, you could go for the two countryside neighbourhoods in Henford on Bagley. You have lots of open space and very little neighbourhood decorations.
  • @Lenny_Ogg and @Simmingal I didn't think of Chestnut Ridge. Horse Ranch is installed, but I must wait for Santa Claus to give his Okay to actually use anything from that pack ;) Looks like that's my option for the merchants right there. Thank you everyone for your input!
  • After downloading what felt like several dozen lots, I went with something totally out of the left field: Willow Creek.
I placed the barracks are at Oakenstead, the sergeant with family got the former Spencer-Kim-Lewis lot and the Governor the former park. With the marsh/swampo environment I can pretend the government district is somewhere between Sulani/Selvadorada and Black Spire.

The merchant family will go to either Upper Strangerville or Chestnut Ridge. The rest of Upper Strangerville will become an outskirt of Black Spire, with venues.
  • @Atreya33 Upper Strangerville sounds good, it has a nice secluded feel that would fit the Governor and his staff. Come to think of it, the game will spawn military personnel that I just have to switch into stormtrooper outfits, that's a plus, too.

So now I only need a neighborhood for the merchants. I'm not 100% sold on Henford for them.

@Lenny_Ogg Do you mean Blowtorch? No, I haven't tried that one. I do have TOOL, though, it can move objects from the home lot to the neighborhood. I think stuff removed with TOOL re-appears after a while (not 100% sure, but a heap of fish I removed for a photoshoot definitely came back).
  • I don't know much of Star Wars or Batuu for that matter but just comparing pictures I think Chestnut Ridge might work?

that is, if snow is okay
if not then oasis or strangerville probably

i tend to group those 3 worlds together in my mind
