How do I make the Ghosts come out and play?

Just patiently wait :) Releasing her to the netherworld will delete her tombstone forever.

If you release them to the netherworld they never come back, I think. I spent half of the night staring at a grave waiting for a ghost to come out, went inside to check on the family and the ghost was in there lol

So how long did it take for others? I let Mortimer Goth starve to death on the terrace now I`m waiting for his ghost to show up. Must be a grumpy ghost. He was really really uncomortable when he died :confounded:

I have the opposite problem, Nina and Dina Caliente came over to 'hang out' and met their grisly ends and now they keep popping out and scaring everyone... perhaps Don shouldn't have knocked up their mother but little Donita Caliente is as cute as little Don Goth. Mortimer keeps popping around though, perhaps getting jiggy with Cassandra as soon as she aged up to YA was not a good idea (Don's wife is in the club too) *evil laugh*

Alrigghtie! Thanks guys. :) I just have the entire lot zoomed out during the night but no luck. Maybe night three is the night (lol).

Okay, so I had a question.......did they fix the always mourning problem? I saw a while back that people posted about their sims dropping everything suddenly to go out, mourn over the grave/urn, and then go back in only to have the same thing keep happening over and over again. I would think that they would have to if people wanted to see the ghosts but not to deal with that issue.

@bear31 that wasn't a problem for me. I know townies - if invited over they would mourn randomly and that could get annoying. I'll test to see if they still do that.

No, my sims still do that.
Even if they never met the deceased :/
