I feel so dumb, I am finally playing with my toddlers and want to make some friends. I have two couples, the adults all know each other and have met each others toddlers but when I play the toddlers, they are all strangers. Is there no introductions for Toddlers? I looked to see if an adult has to introduce them and couldn't find anything. I had the toddlers play dolls for awhile and when I tried to get them to interact with each other, they still identify as strangers. Help!

How far up is the toddler's communication skill? You might have to increase it to level 3 (the level where they learn to talk instead of babble) in order to unlock more interactions. This is my theory, at least. I haven't tested it myself.

I cheated. I used the teleport any sim mod to bring them to the lot and had my Sim meet them.

@GoddessSims I can get them all on one lot fine, The issue is that every Toddler I click on while playing as Toddler (except family) has the action "talk to stranger" no matter what I do to help them interact, the toddler I am trying to make friends with is a stranger. Even on their home lot with families their parents know.

Besides switching households, how do toddlers get to know each other in the first place? I'm playing my Legacy and can't find a way to get toddler friends for my toddlers without cheating since they never show up at public lots.

I haven't had that issue. I help a play date and they were able to interact with everyone just fine. Their communication was almost maxed out when I had it though. Once you get it up higher and your still having the issue it would have to be glitch. If you have the MC Command Center mod you could use it to at least get past the introduction part and build their relationships from there.
