- ChadSims2Seasoned NewcomerWe have got plenty supernatural content such as servos, aliens mermaids vampires witches ghost living scare crow and a entire world with mother which makes the town zombie like also a occult stuff pack. Not having content we had in the past as soon as we did in the past is not a supernatural only issue its a Sims 4 issue where every pack has less content in it than games of the past.
- Have you all perhaps considered that they don't wont this game to just be a clone of The Sims 3?

Wanting occults in the Sims 4 is not wanting it to be a clone of the Sims 3. A lot of the occults in the other games don't even have the same abilities. Occults are apart of the franchise and some people don't get that. - Amj1995Seasoned Newcomer

@ChadSims2
From your POV and some others that is plenty, but people who want more occults that is not. I didn't say it was a supernatural only issue, the community is quite aware of the lack of content/features throughout the whole game. You can express your disappointment on a feature in another thread, but belittling others for a content/feature they want, will not help the issue. - SilentK008Seasoned NewcomerKeeping all my fingers crossed for werewolves and fairies!!
Especially if they can have the GP-treatment because those seems to turn out the best. - EmeraldEylesSeasoned Novice

I'm glad fairies didn't come with the farm pack I want an Ireland or Scottish world for fairy folk
Agreed, I have a feeling the good folk in the most recent pack would've been insultingly twee versions of themselves. Having said that, until we get actual Faeries (and I'm not holding my breath, because I doubt EA would give us the non twee versions I think a lot of us would prefer), I do think the Cottage Living pack at least has the world potential for some self created and self directed faerie play (especially if it's combined with the Realm of Magic pack).
But seriously, is it too much to ask to at least have a Bean Sidhe or a Bean Nighe? - i have no problems with any occult except one, zombies. Zombies has been done with death with tv films and series and on computer games, i think TS4 could do without them. (pun intended)
There might still be time for the other occults; warewolves and fairies to show up and maybe the occasional visit from bigfoot as well (although that trick was missed with granite falls, if only to tease users into finding bigfoot on the map with the camera and bigfoot runs off quickly after being discovered. if there was ever a world for bigfoot, granite falls would of been it.) I'll be hoping for a GP that includes the fae I grew up with and in the meantime searching for some fairy CC for my spellcasters. I'm a bit disappointed there's no fairies in this pack but like you, I would prefer the more dangerous kinds to be included. Hopefully a GP would give us some of the dark side of the fae that every one forgets.
I'm always reminded of the Terry Pratchett quote about elves :) They're terrific!
"No one said elves were nice" ;) Love Pratchett <3- What is the likelihood that we will still be getting fairies, do you think? They were absolutely my favourite occult lifestate in the Sims 3, but I fear we will either not get them at all, or that they will be badly done. For instance, I wouldn't want them at all if their children were not magical and had no powers of their own, as is the case with Spellcasters. What a disappointment that was and continues to be! I'd like Sims 4 faeries (if they ever come) to have really powerful auras like they did in Sims 3, affecting the motives, skills and relationships (and not just emotions). They were great for family gameplay. They could also have elemental and nature-based magic.
Ideally, as someone mentioned above, they could be more like traditional fae and have a dark side too, or there could be a dark version amidst other more benevolent versions. What would a dark fae in the Sims involve, I wonder? Stealing babies for their own from other sims' households and leaving a changeling behind? (Not that the Sims 4 would ever permit anything even close to that in a Teen-rated game, and besides the babies are still objects). The rule should be that if developers are going to add a lifestate back into the franchise, they should always improve on what existed before, and never take anything away. If they had followed that rule, then mermaids and aliens would be more like the excellent Sims 4 vampires, instead of being the rather lackluster imitations of their sims 3 precursors that they are now. This I agree with :)
