Is jogging with a dog bugged?

I don't know what's going on with jogging with a dog, but ever since I've been trying to get into more things with this game, certain things don't seem to work well? Like for example, I'd start going jogging with a dog, and my sim won't stop until his hygiene is completely trashed! If I cancel the jog while he's still running it'll bug out and my sim will just stand there even if I click commands for him to move or go home, I have to reset sim every time if I do this! Anyone else experiencing this?

    Dog standing still, teleporting, sim looses weight when jogging with only 14 Me Too's, perhaps it’s too vague what the actual problem is.
