- well yes, the point of them is that they exist for those who want to do them. Like in any other game.

But usually in other games, there are incentives. There really isn't here."Wulfsimmer;c-16594802" wrote:

what kind of incentives would you like to see added?"Reksoh;c-16594806" wrote:

Special objects, etc... idk. Plus, the fact that it is save-based doesn't help either. I would probably be more inclined to do them if they are permanently completed.- DeKaythePUNK8 years agoLegendTrue, it will be nice if there was some kind of special object you get. Like how the point system worked in TS2, where the sim would get to redeem the item with the lifetime points.
- Fanphoria8 years agoSeasoned Ace::shrugs:: I never try to get achievements, but I do kinda enjoy the little announcement when I stumble on one. It's a nice little pick me up to bench mark the game. I personally don't feel the need for any other reward, since I likley wouldn't "go after" an achievement even if there was one. I'm content with what it is--a little gold star, maybe makes you smile and chuckle a little, nothing more.
- I think they're just there for another layer of something to do/challenge/flavor for those that want to try them and probably because almost all games have achievements now and they figured they should probably add them. I don't see why they have to do something or give something. Just ignore them/don't do them if it bothers you that they don't give anything. At some point I want to attempt a full achievement run even the super hard ones like the 100 Generation one.
@DeKay the points in Sims 2 work exactly the way that the sims wish/whim points in Sims 3 and 4 worked you just spend them on the reward traits rather then getting objects for them.
I wish someone out there would put out a list of the hidden achievements I've yet to find anything. Like I had a sim complete the Mischief skill/aspiration and she got an achievement for it that's not on the in-game achievement list. "3KNPen;c-16598715" wrote:

Why should we ignore something and not give a suggestion that could improve it?- SimplyJen8 years agoSeasoned AceI've always hated how they work. I would prefer if they were apart of our Origin accounts. Some EA games have an Achievements tab via Origin.Spoiler(not my screenshot/old version of Origin)
