Could someone please walk me step by step through all the menus to have my widowed sim adopt her stepchildren, one a child and one a young adult? I want them to show up on the family tree, and after the spouse died, the children are no longer showing up under the widow in the family tree. Their biological mother is still alive, but they live in the widow's household.
So far I have tried the computer and phone, and clicking on the children, but I cannot figure out how to navigate the menus to find the option to adopt.
