Question about Halloween

Spooky Spirit also covers Aliens/Vamps as well, but if you don't have either of those, you're out of luck.

There are ways to get ghosts to appear. If you have the "haunted" lot trait there is a chance a ghost will appear or you can tell ghosts stories and they have a chance of summoning a ghost, not sure if that is part of the base game or if it came with outdoor retreat.

If you have GT youc ould go to the Von Haunts estate in Windenburg and interact with the two ghosts on that lot.

If you have Spooky Stuff the spooky spirit tradition will also include carving pumpkins and using the candy bowl.

I'm not completely sure, but I think having "remembrance" as one of the traditions creates ghost passerbys. If it's not remembrance then it's one of the other traditions. I had a lot of ghosts walk by!

Telling ghost stories only came with Outdoor Retreat, but the Haunted lot trait is either basegame or only with CL, idk. However, it does not guarantee a ghost to appear on the night you want them to appear on.

I don't think the Haunted lot trait is base game, I believe it comes with the City Living EP. I rarely use lot traits though so I could be mistaken or perhaps it was recently added to base game in a patch? Last time I looked through the list of lot traits though, I don't recall seeing it there. I really hope you're right because I'd love that trait for certain lots in my game. :)

I recommend having a designated Vampire or Ghost around, my vampire is a daemon, he doesn't often leave the realm of Darkness but when he does, it's lit!

Really? I had figured it was with all the lot traits that were patched in for the CL pre-patch that included adding in lot traits? My memory either may not have recalled it...

Oh another way to get a ghost is if you have Romantic garden you can use the wishing well. Deadly outcomes include turing your sin into a ghost, your sim getting a ghost lover, and your sim getting a ghost child.

If you have GTW you can make a potion (scientist only) that turns sims temporarily into ghosts.

You can also go to the gallery and manually add a ghost to your family then delete them or whatever.

I'm almost certain the game generates ghosts on its own for that holiday tradition, at least mine did.
