Question for anyone who plays a home in Brindleton Bay

Do you get ANY visitors? I really like the way it looks and such, and the secluded feel is nice...to a point. But I'm playing on the tiny little 20x20 lot that sits on the eastern coast in Cavalier Cove, and though I had Sims show up for the Welcome Wagon, there's been no one since, for like three weeks (and my sim does have quite a few friends). It's getting a bit boring; roughly the same handful of sims wanders by every day, along with a bunch of smelly dogs. I can't even find any tuning for the walk-bys to tweak it with a mod. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this.

  • Guess I've been lucky in that department. Got one household on the lot behind the Brindleton Pawspital, and my sim has already had a visit from a friend from her old apartment. The family in Dachshound's Creek has had two visits from relatives beyond the welcome wagon, and at first I'd set things to encourage strays. Then the strays took over the house so I changed the lot traits since they'd already adopted a dog.
  • I've been playing a sim living at Tail's End for seemingly forever (doing a rags to riches - vet challenge that required a 5 star vet clinic). Other than the welcome wagon, the only times my sim got unannounced visitors: Vlad (before she got her dog) and when she got a boyfriend. Then he would come by periodically. Otherwise, nothing.
  • It's curious; I don't even know how the game generates people in the areas. I was able to figure it out in Oasis Springs, for example, and could tweak it back and forth so I'd have a visitor every couple of hours if I wanted. But no files I can find for Brindleton.
