Sad Day When You Realize the Toddlers Have Been UP ALL NIGHT
Yeah. I rarely look at the clock in the game, except when a Sim has a particular place to be by a certain time, that is. Erik is home from work, and he spent some time with his eldest child, then decided it was time to round up the Toddlers (of which there are three at this time). He ends up having to teach Melody manners, then goes to fetch her twin sister, Harmony to put her to bed. Happily Jamison went right to sleep after finishing his homework. As I check to see where Erik is and pan the camera around to the backyard, one of the five Roosters crows I take that moment to look at the game clock — it's Five AM! Where did the day go? :open_mouth:
Happily, the Toddlers needs are full. I find that if I cheat them up and then disable decay prior to their Dad having a full day down at Plumbob Studios, it's better. Once he's done with his gigs (he often has daily: a concert, a photoshoot, and a bit part in a major film), I go to each Toddler and enable decay again.
But my goodness, the time simply got away from me once again!
How often do you get so caught up in your own gameplay that you fail to check the in-game clock? Please share, this could be fun. :)
